The "Dream-Chaser and All Around Busy Girl" Diaries

"I've always been a big dreamer, but not the type who just sits around waiting for my dreams to come true. So in that respect, I like to think of myself as a dream chaser, because YOU are the only person who can make things happen and you have to get up everyday and work at it. You wanna write? Then write! You love music? Make some. Hungry? Cook up something new. If you're the kind of person who's interested in the world, you won't have time to wait for the world to be interested in you.

Whatever you want to do, get out there and do it. Write the script, apply for the job, send the email or the text, take the risk. Sometimes you'll be ignored or shut down. Sometimes you'll find that you've been chasing the same dream for years, decades, even. But if it's really your dream, isn't it worth the effort and energy? Fight hard for all your dreams, and don't let yourself get discouraged by those who have fallen behind on the race to theirs.

I try to write creatively EVERYDAY, but I have a lot of other interest, too. As a partner in a video production company, Ricordi Productions, I'm able to apply my storytelling skills to video. My serious love of history has led me to write for the awesome Life, Simpler site which focuses on vintage living through the DIY lenses of health, cooking and gardening. I also LOVE my hometown and still write for my hometown magazine, Johnstown Magazine. AND I stay true to the Italian restaurant family I grew up in with my cooking website, Diva's Dinners and Drinks where I share all my original recipes.
